Add 2 cups of water, 3 tbsp of olive oil (or your preferred oil), and 2 tbsp vinegar* to a pan or skillet over high heat.
Bring water to a rapid boil and add the entire contents of the pouch, stirring to combine.
Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 7-10 minutes or until all water has evaporated, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
For a new twist on a classic favorite, try it paired with eggs in your favorite breakfast combo, or for an elevated experience, make it into sausages.
This is spiced perfectly to taste like the pork chorizo I used to eat. It’s great for burritos, eggs and stuffed peppers
