Pizza Dip with Garlic Bread

Pizza Dip with Garlic Bread CLASSIC SALT & PEPPER

Gameday snacking at it’s best. No need to order a pizza, just try this pizza dip instead. Served with fresh garlic bread, this snacking dip will be a hit all season.

Serves 1-4 people

Ingredients

For Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT

  • 1 Bag RollinGreens Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

For the Pizza Dip

  • 1-12 oz. bag shredded mozzarella cheese (optional cheese alternative)
  • ½ jar of marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese (optional cheese alternative)
  • Olive oil (Optional)

For the Garlic Bread

  • 1 Baguette
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter (optional butter alternative)
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese (optional cheese alternative)
  • 2 sprigs parsley or ½ tsp dried parsley.

Instructions

  1. For the Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT, bring 2 cups water and olive oil to a boil in a medium pot or pan. Reduce heat to medium low.
  2. Add the entire contents of the Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT and stir well.
  3. Cook 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the moisture has been absorbed. Turn heat to simmer.
  4. For the pizza dip, preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  5. In a large cast iron pan add a ½ inch layer of sauce. Top the sauce with mozzarella.
  6. Place chunks of Classic Salt & Pepper onto cheese and add the parmesan cheese. Drizzle olive oil on top and bake pizza dip until cheese is golden brown about 10-15 minutes.
  7. For the garlic bread, Cut the Baguette in half longways. Melt the butter, oil and chopped garlic in a pan heated to medium-low. Add a touch of salt. Pour garlic butter mix evenly onto both sides of the bread. Top with parmesan and parsley. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until edges of bread are golden brown.
