RollinGreens Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT sautéed with jicama and jalapeno topped with a savory sesame sauce.

Ingredients
For Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT
- 1 Bag RollinGreens Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For Savory Sesame Sauce
- ½ tsp black and white sesame seeds each
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp tamari
- ½ tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp hot water
- ½ tsp toasted sesame oil
For Sautéed ME’EAT Filling
- ½ cooked Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 cup diced jicama
- 1 jalapeno diced
For Lettuce and toppings
- 6-8 leaves butter lettuce
- Crispy puffed rice noodles
- 6-8 sprigs cilantro
Instructions
- For the Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT, bring 2 cups water and olive oil to a boil in a medium pot or pan. Reduce heat to medium low.
- Add the entire contents of the Classic Salt & Pepper ME’EAT and stir well.
- Cook 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the moisture has been absorbed. Turn heat to simmer.
- For the savory sesame sauce add together all ingredients under the savory sesame sauce section and stir.
- For the sautéed filling, in a separate sauté pan, heat to medium and add 1 tsp of toasted sesame oil and then the cooked Salt & Pepper ME’EAT. Cook for 1-2 minutes and then add the diced jicama and diced jalapeno and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- For the toppings, place a small number of crispy noodles and then a spoonful of filling into each lettuce leaf and top with savory sesame sauce and cilantro.
