Chili Cheese Burrito

Chili Cheese Burrito GROUND TACO

RollinGreens Ground Taco Protein chili and cheddar cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla.

Serves: 1 person

Ingredients

For Ground Taco Protein

  • 1 Bag RollinGreens Ground Taco Protein
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For Ground Taco Protein Chili

  • 8 oz. Tomato sauce
  • Cooked Ground Taco Protein

For the Burrito

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional cheese alternative)
  • 1 large flour tortilla

Instructions

  1. For the Ground Taco Protein, bring 2 cups water and olive oil to a boil in a medium pot or pan. Reduce heat to medium low.
  2. Add the entire contents of the Ground Taco Protein and stir well.
  3. Cook 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the moisture has been absorbed. Turn heat to simmer.
  4. For the chili, add tomato sauce into pot with ground taco and heat to low. Stir. 
  5. For the burrito, preheat oven to 400 Degrees F. Place chili on the center of the tortilla and top with shredded cheese, roll and place in foil and bake until cheese is melted (7-10 minutes).
  6. Remove from the oven and place onto serving plate.
