Our Wings and Tots are deep flash-frozen at their peak of freshness. It’s like hitting nature’s pause button to ensure every bit of their delicious nutrients are sealed-in.
Of course, keeping frozen products frozen requires a lot of planning, special delivery, and care. Which also increases the cost. Rest assured, we are constantly working to improve shipping costs and the overall delivery experience.
STRAIGHT-UP COLD.
We package our frozen items in a reusable cooler, on dry ice, to ensure your food will arrive cold and ready for storage in your freezer. Dry ice is an excellent refrigerant and very cold (- 110 degrees F), so please do not handle it with bare hands.
Dry ice is another term for solid carbon dioxide, so it skips the liquid phase in melting and changes from a solid directly to a gas. Since we air-freight our products in 2 days, it is common for little or no dry ice to remain by the time you receive your package. However, your food will still be cold and ready to put right in your freezer.
Also note, due to Covid and the increase in delivery of cold and frozen products, dry ice prices have also surged. We are working tirelessly to keep costs as low as possible. We are also in a continued quest to create an even eco-friendlier pack, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can up-cycle the cooler, and use it to keep items cold after your grocery run, or road trip.
