  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • One sprig of fresh basil

Instructions

Preparation:

  • Add 2 cups water to a medium pot or pan.
  • Add olive oil to water.
  • Bring to boil, once boiling, reduce heat to medium low and tear off the top of the Classic Salt & Pepper pack and add contents. Stir well.

  • In a large pot boil water with salt.
  • Wash and dice carrot, set aside.
  • Dice onion and garlic and place into separate bowls.
  • In a medium pot, heat to medium-low and add olive oil once pot is heated.

  • Add onions to carrots and cook until golden brown, then add garlic and stir. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper and stir.
  • Add can or jar of tomato sauce. Stir. Cook until sauce reduces, and pasta is finished cooking.
  • Place pasta in boiling water until al dente. Remove from the water and place into finished Bolognese with tongs.
  • Twirl pasta around the tongs, distributing your portions evenly onto your serving bowls or plates.
  • Place the remaining of the sauce on top of each portion.
  • Finish the dish with Parmesan and topped with a leaf of Basil.
